Kirkwood Academy of Performing Arts, aims to provide the highest quality dance instruction to children and young adults in a diverse, nurturing environment. We believe that the arts enrich the life of the student and family by building self esteem, lasting friendships and life skills. Our students are encouraged to become technically proficient and at the same time build self esteem, cooperation and leadership skills.

Programs

Kirkwood Academy provides classes for every dancer, ages 3 and up, for those with any level of dance experience. Ballet is fundamental training for all students wishing to dance and it is one of the classes almost every student takes. Additional classes may include: modern, tap, jazz, lyrical, acro, pointe, PBT, contemporary, variety and musical theatre.
